The flexible, non-absorbable thread lifts and supports the cheeks, jawline and neck under local anaesthetic - with natural-looking results that typically endure for 3 to 5 years, rather than months.
How the Spring Thread® Lift works
Gravity pulls tissue downwards over time. The answer is to guide it gently back - precisely, and without an operation.
Just beneath the skin lies a layer of soft, fatty tissue. As we age it loses elasticity and slowly sinks, carrying your facial contours with it. During the procedure, Dr. Glancey introduces a fine, flexible thread into this layer - roughly 3-4 mm below the skin - through tiny entry points concealed at the hairline.
The thread is then carefully tensioned, drawing the tissue upwards and backwards into a fresher position. The improvement is visible straight away, and because the thread is crafted from materials the body tolerates exceptionally well, your own tissue gradually integrates around it over the following weeks - securing the lift for the long term.
The whole procedure takes about an hour at one of our clinics, under local anaesthetic - no general anaesthetic and no overnight stay.
